Friends, I wanted to post this to my personal blog at WATCH NONNIE WRITE! but I felt like this was so much bigger than lil’ ‘ole me, I needed to post it for wider range.
I went to YouTube just to grab a link to a book trailer, and this video jumped up in my face… literally! As if it was just waiting there for me! And although Tyler Perry’s “Madea” character is fictional, what is being shared in this clip is all too real, and everyone needs to hear it! I just listened to it three times – in one sitting – and will be sharing it with others in my life.
If you really listen to what he/she is saying, I promise you, it will change your life forever!
Before you click below, ask yourself this question: Do you LOVE you enough to let people go?
Believe me when I say without hesitation, I DO!

HI Nonnie, this is exactly right. Sometimes we have to let people go who just suck us dry and give nothing in return. It isn’t selfish, it is for our own self preservation. Thanks for this post.

I do love ❤️ me enough to let go. It’s interesting how you say you went to YouTube and a story just popped up there, just waiting for you. It’s something that was meant for you to do. Sometimes we are driven to something in the spirit because we are unique human beings made in the image and likeness of God. There is no logical explanation for what we are capable of. I don’t know where I was going with this but just love yourself enough to realize you can do anything if you believe it.

Hi, Nonnie! Thanks for sharing this! What a way to impart some deep truths. I’ve always enjoyed Tyler Perry’s Madea, and with reason. Wisdom served with a healthful dose of comedy is like honey, sweet but full of good nutrients. I imagine we’ve all had to let seasonal people go, and I’ve experienced the pain and joy of moving on without them. I thank the Lord for the ones He gave me for a lifetime. Blessings!

Hi, Madam President,
Tyler Perry is one of my go to videos when I need encouragement.
Another one is Denzel Washington.
Thank you for sharing this. It is indeed powerful and has had a great effect on my own life.

Sound advice Nonnie, told in language we can all understand. Two places where we should have peace, and our own home is one. Thanks for this. I’ll be sharing it.
