Award-winning author, Karen Ingalls is an active member of RRBC and RWISA. Social issues, people, nature, and spirituality inspire her novels, memoirs, and biographies. Publication of a book of short stories will be available in the fall of 2019. She started writing as a preteen to help her heal from abuse, alcoholic parents, and untimely deaths.
She is a retired RN with a Master’s Degree in Human Development and Psychology. Ms. Ingalls is an avid reader and member of the RRBC “100+” Club and also a very dedicated member of the RRBC Tweet Support Team.
When she is not writing or reading, you will find her on the golf course, fishing off her dock, or knitting/crocheting. She volunteers for several Ovarian Cancer foundations and programs.
