P.T.L. Perrin (Patty) grew up as a Military Brat, mostly in Europe, with no television and a huge imagination. Books were her entertainment and lifeline, her ties to worlds she’d never see and to people and characters who enriched her life through their stories.

She wrote the TETRASPHERE series as pure entertainment and as a way to answer some of the unanswerable questions about our amazing universe. Patty writes books she hopes her grandchildren will love reading. She and her Tennis Pro husband live in South Florida, where their favorite season is Winter.

  9. Hi, Patty! I so enjoyed your interview on EYES ON THE BOOK (June 11, ’22)! You have really “pushed” me to start your first series, especially since I now know that there are so many human elements to the series. Thanks again for enlightening me!

    1. Thank you so much, Nonnie! It’s the human elements that make a story in any genre. These books incorporate elements of scifi and fantasy, but they’re really the story of the four kids and the people they interact with. Unlike many teen and ya books, their parents also play a role in helping them in their quest. In this case, I believe it works well. Thanks for inviting me on the program!

    1. We have other friends who moved from Hawaii to Mt. Dora, a delightfully artsy community northeast of Orlando. I’ve never been to Maui, but it looks beautiful. Orlando has a lot to offer! We’ve lived there and enjoyed it very much. We’ve moved to South Florida from there. I hope you both love every minute of your time in Orlando, and, of course, in Europe!
