  1. Hi Shirley–I have enjoyed reading your daily blogs during the 30-day blogging challenge. Unfortunately, my comments are not going through. Would you check to see if my comments have been placed in your SPAM? It’s frustrating because this has been an ongoing issue on WordPress sites. Once my comments are approved, it doesn’t seem to be an issue after that. My IT person can’t figure out what is happening.

    1. Yes, Linnea, I have been complaining to wordpress, and they don’t seem to be able to pinpoint a problem. There is a problem and they do need to fix it. I’m just getting your comment so I hope it has worked out. I will check again and see if I can find your comments. I will have to look at all of my posts, which I will do when time permits.

  3. Greetings, Shirley! Thank you, thank you for my wonderful Christmas gifts! I was surprised to see a package delivered with a return address I didn’t recognize. When I opened it and saw the book you sent, I was surprised and delighted! It was such fun to get an unexpected delivery and the gift cards will be put to very good use. Merry Christmas, Santa Shirley! 🤗

    1. I’m glad you got it. Amazon wouldn’t allow me to gift it and so I prayed that you wouldn’t find out it was me. It was supposed to arrive on Dec. 21st but that didn’t work out. Apparently, the author is not selling any new books, so this used one was the only one available. It was so weird. Anyway, I’m glad everything worked out and you got some of your wishes.

Have a Safe and Wonderful Holiday!

  4. Hello Everyone!

The most amazing thing about this day is reconciling with my son. We have not been communicating at a satisfactory level in order to really understand each other and I think we hit that snag and broke through it. Communication is really the best gift of all and I’m happy.

The next best thing is friends and families outside of a real family. RRBC is my family because we have so much in common with each other.

Nonnie, you reached out to me on twitter when most of us didn’t really know how to use it and you formed our twitter group. It went from there to Rave Reviews Book Club, and I’ve been with you ever since. You have taken me on a wild ride through this virtual book club; and it was the best thing to happen to me. I love you like the daughter I never had.

Have a happy and safe holiday everyone, and don’t eat too much.

    You are the best!

      1. That picture was taken at the start of my first book launch back in 2008 or 2009. I was trying to look professional. Lol.

        Thanks so much Phil.

  6. I want to thank all of my RRBC family for the warm birthday wishes and support that you gave me throughout the month of November. Hope to see you in a few minutes on Raters Not Haters.

    1. Hi Maura. Glad you like the cover. My only regret is that I didn’t do it when I first published, because this is exactly what I had in mind at that time. By the time the publisher and I got through the interior, I was exhausted and afraid they wouldn’t fully understand what I wanted. Since I had to do a Second Edition, I’m glad I changed the cover now.

Thank you for helping me celebrate this month.

    1. Hi Jan. I think I’m going to look forward to November 28th since I will be hosting that day. At first I thought, why am I going to host anything on my birthday? But since this is a special month for me, why shouldn’t I? Looking forward to it.

Thank you Jan for hosting me on BOTS on thursday. It was a blast!
