#RRBC #October Member of the Month @pat_garcia #RRBCMOM #RRBCAuthor #RRBC_Community

Patricia Garcia has been on our roster since July 13, 2016.  For a very long while no one really knew who this member was.  That all changed this year.  I’m not sure if it was due to the pandemic, but Pat caught the RRBC bug and it is still biting her … hard!

Sometimes it takes our members a little while to warm up and Pat was one of those members.  She isn’t the first member who landed on our roster and got a late start and she probably won’t be the last.

You’d be hard-pressed to find an event she doesn’t show up to.  And, she doesn’t just show up, she is an active part of every conversation and event.  You’ll find her purchasing (tons of her fellow member) books, reading them and posting reviews.  You will find that she is always supporting almost every Zoom event the club has, and you’ll also find her making her way around to every member’s tour stop, profile pages and author pages, always leaving comments.  I’ve used the word “find” four times in this one paragraph in reference to Pat, when all I was trying to say was, it’s sure hard to find members like her.  She is our kind of RRBCer!

Because of all the support she showers us with here at RRBC, she is extra-deserving of the honor of MEMBER OF THE MONTH for October!

You can connect with Pat best by visiting her RRBC Author Page and leaving her a comment.  Don’t forget to LIKE her page and follow her on social media.  She deserves all the support we can muster!  Let’s make her month uber-extra-special!!!

Then, on Monday, 10/26, we ask that you spend the entire day showing Pat just how special she is by continually tweeting and sharing this page and her author page all over your social media forums!  This will be her day – our MEMBER OF THE MONTH MONDAY Support day!

Please use the hashtags #RRBC #RRBCMOM in all your tweets of this amazing member!

Pat is in the process of publishing her first book now so there’s not one to list here, but when it’s ready, we should all be first in line to purchase a copy!  That’s what she’s always doing for all of us!

CONGRATULATIONS, Pat, on being October’s MEMBER OF THE MONTH!!!  Enjoy it!

We’ll see you here next month when it could be YOU sitting in the #MOM seat!

  1. Hi, Pat. I’m happy to see you are the Author of the Month. I can always count on you to visit my pages and promotions with kind words and thoughts.

    1. Hi Susanne,
Thank you. I believe that is what RRBC is all about. Besides, I’ve learned that there is enough cake to go around for everyone to get a big slice and there will still be something left over. I believe that wholeheartedly.
      Shalom aleichem

    1. Thank you P.T.L. I have to admit that I have a hard time accepting a compliment and your compliment just made me blush again. Since I’ve been back, I’ve met nothing but great people here. You all have made it easier for me to come back in and that has been a blessing. So, I thank you too.
      Shalom aleichem

    1. Thank you, Maura Beth. As I was saying to P.T.L. all of you have made it easy for me to come back into the fold. I am so happy about that. I was afraid because I had been away so long. I am glad that I’m back, and I will do whatever I can to support the team.
      Shalom aleichem

    1. Thank you, Yvette. I believe I am six or seven hours ahead of you. So when you wake up, I have already looked at the site and Twitter. That’s a privilege for me because I think best in the early mornings and use that time to write or reply to important things on Social Media.
I have two of your books, The One Enlightened and The One Discovered. The One Enlightened is on my TBR list for October, so I’ll be getting to it soon.
      Have a great week.
      Shalom aleichem

    1. Thank you Wendy. I don’t know about being a star but since I have reactivated my membership in RRBC by participating, I have met lots of stars, and I salute all of you. It’s nice to be back.
      Shalom aleichem

  2. Hi, Pat! Congratulations for a well-deserved recognition!! I can’t say everything I want to say about you and how you show up for every RRBC event because I am out of town and on my phone. So I will just offer a huge congratulations! I look forward to prompting you!

    1. Thank you so much Jan. One thing that I have learned from you since I have become active in the RRBC again is that you are always willing to help. I appreciate that. There is so much that I don’t know. Between you and Paula, Nonnie’s assistant, I don’t fear asking questions. If I don’t know it I know I can go to you two. Thank you for your assistance

    1. Good Morning Bette,
To be quite honest, I’m not awesome yet, but I have a lot of people walking before me that are good examples of what it means to be supportive, and you have always been one of those people.
      Love you, Lady.
      Shalom aleichem

  3. Good Morning Nonnie;
I am shocked!!! This has really shocked me. I don’t know what to say. Thank you. Yes, I have been around for a while. I was following Micki Peluso’s blog and saw how engaged she was and asked her about the RRBC and that is how I first got involved. But sometimes life gets in the way. Suddenly, my husband was diagnosed with an incurable disease and my plans had to change. I nursed him until he died last year, and I was very happy that I could do that. He was a great guy.
Now, I have time to get back fully into my writing and singing. I am excited about the possibilities.
Nursing my husband was a humongous job but I learned so much about life and supporting others during that time that I want to give to others. The sun always shines regardless of the weather when we reach out and help make someone else’s life a little bit brighter. I believe that.
We have some great writers/authors in RRBC. I wish I could read faster but I can’t because the books that I have read so far have pulled me into the author’s world, and I enjoyed being there.
Once again, thank you. I’ll probably walk around today pinching myself. This is truly an honor.
    Shalom aleichem

  4. Fred, I’ve just finished reading Summer of ’77: Beaches, bars and boogie nights in Ibiza. I love how you remembered or recreated the events with so much detail! You brought me back to my own days of hitchhiking around Europe and spending summers at beaches in Italy. I must say, many of your accounts had me laughing, and some made me stop and remember the heartbreak of leaving new friends and places. Your detailed imagery brought back vivid memories of times I’d long ago stuffed into brightly colored boxes in my mind, always meaning to get back to them but forgetting they were there. Thanks for this engaging and frankly honest story of your adventures in Ibiza and beyond.
