Shirley Harris-Slaughter has been on our roster since almost the very beginning of our inception – since 2014.  She has served on our Governing Board, as a host of RATERS NOT HATERS, is a VIP member with Lifetime Membership, and has always, and remains an extremely active and supportive member of RRBC.  It’s no wonder we find her here as our FEBRUARY MEMBER OF THE MONTH!

    2. Thanks Karen. I’ve been super-busy with two books in production, arranging a book launch for Winning, and becoming chairperson of the Arts and Decorating Committee in my apartment/retirement community. In between these things, I continue to create doodle art and display new pictures in my studio.

    1. Thanks so much. I don’t bask very well, I’m afraid, and just keep chugging along. Right now I’m in the process of editing two manuscripts. Winning will be officially released in September. My next book, Grief in Your Words, will be released next year.

  18. Wanda, as you know, I’ve read and reviewed Empty Seats with a 5-star rating. Your story Handprints hit a different chord for me as it addressed the power of friendship and refuted the my-wife-is -crazy theory in a certain historical era.
